Food is a Global Love Language....
Chef Nekisha empowers people through positivity, love and GREAT FOOD! She is also the daughter of Jamaican parents who provided her with a deep cultural heritage and vibrant island traditions that inspired the creation of her debut cookbook, From My Mudda’s Kitchen ~ A Jamaican Cookbook.
Nekisha is passionate about preserving her authentic Jamaican heritage through the rich tastes and flavors of Jamaica and Ghana.

Royal ACKEE LLC, is a catering service provider, creating food that inspires through the curation of farm to table experiences. Our experience in strategic menu planning, staffing, procuring supplies, budget formulation and execution has afforded us the opportunity to service both National and International Events.
The rich background of CEO, Chef Nekisha as a former active member of the United States Air Force, where she worked in Airfield Management ensuring Pilots had flight plans, notice to air missions (NOTAMS), and airfield briefings prior to takeoff. Following her military service, she worked as an Executive Assistant for the Chief Financial Officer of the Department of Homeland Security, and as a Special Assistant with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Her career with the Air Force also afforded her the opportunity to experience the unique cultures of Japan, Uzbekistan, and Turkey.
All these experiences and exposure has increased her passion to portray different cultures through catering services and also ensures quality and value. She has been performing event planning and catering services since 2008 and entered into full time catering in 2020. She featured on Good Morning Washington and has appeared on Great Day Washington for catering service.
